Is my data secure?+
There are two types of data: personal details (name, phone number, address) that help recruiters identify you, and professional data (experience, skills, CV) that the AI uses to generate cover letters and answer experience-related questions. Personal data is never sent to the AI — it's only used to fill form fields directly.
How does the app work?+
Aplyin has two parts: a Chrome extension that does the heavy lifting — detecting form fields, autofilling applications, and capturing job details — and a web dashboard where you configure your profile, CV, and skills, then track every application on a kanban board. Browse jobs wherever you want, and the extension handles the rest.
Is Aplyin a job board?+
No, and that's intentional. We don't scrape job listings or try to centralize the job search on our site. Most job boards attempt this, but it's nearly impossible to do well — there are hundreds of job sites, new ones appear constantly, and the same job is often cross-posted across several platforms. Instead, our extension works on any site you visit, and all your applications end up tracked in one place rather than scattered across different job boards.

Do I need to create an account?+
Yes, an account is required. The extension stores your profile, CV, skills, and settings on your account — it can't function without one. Signing up takes seconds with Google.
Can I customize the AI-generated cover letters?+
Absolutely. You can define custom skills and preferences that the AI uses to tailor each cover letter to the specific job posting.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
You can export your application history at any time. You own your data — we never share it with third parties. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently and immediately removed from our servers.
